This privately owned design and build showroom serves as a one-stop shop for designers, contractors,homeowners, and builders, offering an unparalleled selection of cutting-edge construction finishing materials. Michaela Armstrong - Project Coordination Assistant
Michaela brings a wealth of experience from various facets of the home improvement industry, including construction management, interior design, and administrative assistance. As a Navy Veteran with a BFA in Interior Architecture & Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Michaela combines her deep passion for design with a broad technical and managerial skill set.
At Northbay Kitchen & Bath, Michaela leverages her extensive knowledge in software and construction to effectively handle a range of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and support for the team. Her background in design enriches her approach to problem-solving and project management.
Outside of her professional life, Michaela expertly manages the demands of being a mom to two young children. She enjoys preparing healthy and inventive recipes for her family, caring for a few farm animals, and running her own small business. Her ability to juggle these diverse roles underscores her commitment to both her career and personal life.
Megan Svendsen - CKBD, Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer, NKBA
As a recognized professional in the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Megan is passionate about taking her clients’ dreams to reality.
Megan begins by creating a trusting relationship with her clients through an open dialogue, where she listens to your wants, needs and visions. With Megan’s continuing education and over a decade of experience, she tackles the most intricate and difficult designs with experience and professionalism, ensuring ease and flow of even the largest projects.
As a fourth generation Sonoma County resident and second-generation custom home designer/builder, you will typically find Megan outdoors in our abundant beautiful local surroundings or traveling to new cities, states, and countries for inspiration!

Chris Grimm - Kitchen and Bath Designer
Chris Grimm’s journey in the construction and design-build industry began over 20 years ago, rooted in a passion for craftsmanship and innovation. His early experiences in carpentry, combined with formal studies in Architecture at West Valley College, laid a strong foundation for his career. As a General Contractor, Chris gained a comprehensive understanding of the construction process, from the ground up.
Living and working in the North Bay for many years, Chris has developed a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the unique character of each project. His expertise spans a wide range of areas, including kitchen and bath remodels, interior alterations, and home additions. Chris is particularly skilled in creative problem-solving, always prioritizing client needs and exploring diverse design alternatives. Kylee Giovando - Purchasing & Office Coordinator
Kylee, daughter of David Frym, has deep roots in the kitchen and bath industry, shaped by her upbringing in Sonoma County and working alongside her father. Kylee’s journey began with summer internships at Northbay's warehouse, where she was introduced to the design and build industry from an early age. As she progressed to roles in selling tile and plumbing, Kylee broadened her expertise and product knowledge, becoming an integral part of Northbay Kitchen and Bath.
With a strong foundation in the kitchen and bath industry and a keen expertise in purchasing and product knowledge, Kylee excels in managing the complete lifecycle of design projects.
From taking orders through to meticulous purchasing and ensuring seamless installation, she handles each step with precision and grace.
